Daily review
In the PoI system, number of card increase with 10 - 20 per day. If I review cards of the week at weekend, I have to review 70 - 140 cards. It is hard to do every week for lazy person like me.
Rather, daily review become much important and easier. Following is what I have been trying.
- When I leave office, I take out all cards I have written in the day, by using KM2P.
- Before sleep, I pick them up, and remind what I wrote that day, work, life, together.
- Try to remember the cards In a bed. Morning through night, chronologicaly
- Next morning, review the cards again briefly.
- Leave “life” cards in the “life” dock, and take “work” cards to office.
- Put “work” cards to “work” dock at office.
It helps me to remember the event of the day.
# Perhaps it is better to include calendar to the system. Then “search” will be much easier.

I include my calendar in my system. I have a card for each appointment. That way I can write notes for things I want to do or talk about in upcoming meetings, or notes on what was said in a meeting after it’s over.

I have a question. Do you keep all events on the calendar?

Hi Hawk:
I have a shared online calendar at work so that other people can schedule appointments with me, so that’s the master calendar, and *everything* is on there.
I try to make cards for all the meetings I have but I don’t always remember. Having cards for my appointments helps me to see how much time I have available. I just add the day’s meetings to my daily or weekly stack.
I don’t usually make cards for recurring appointments like my weekly piano lesson.
Hope that helps.

Thanks, Jennifer.
I have been thinking how to share memo on a calender between office and home, since I have two dock systems there. The online calendar would be a good solution for this problem. :)

Accumulation of knowledge, records etc. with card is o.k.. I wrote about optimization of our brain as CPU (or RAM) before.
Sametime, I found I even don’t remember what I wrote, for example, this morning. I’m not sure this is really good for my brain.
So I have been experiment to increase memory using cards of the day.
